The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has announced that the deadline for paying contracts and completing enrollment formalities at higher education institutions for the 2026/2027 academic year has been extended to November 1.

The new deadline applies to applicants recommended for bachelor's and master's programs, as well as students who transferred or were reinstated, and those who returned to their studies.

How much must be paid

By the set deadline, at least 25% of the annual cost must be paid under a basic contract, and at least 50% under a differentiated contract.

30% discount for children of teachers

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, children of teaching staff enrolled in full-time bachelor's programs at public higher education institutions will be eligible for compensation of 30% of the contract amount. To apply for the discount, submit an application via the kontrakt.edu.uz platform.

Note that in September the contract payment deadline had already been extended to October 15. Preparing your documents in advance will help you avoid last-minute problems.
