Winners of the republican “Promoter of National Values” contest announced

The Ministry of Preschool and School Education and Science has announced the winners of the republican contest “Promoter of National Values”. Fourteen candidates who won at the regional stages presented their results in spiritual and educational work in their schools and the new initiatives they are promoting.

The aim of the contest is to raise the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work in general secondary schools, and to identify and widely share best practices in educating young people in the spirit of national values and patriotism.

Final results

• 1st place — Hanifaxon Obidjonovna Roziqova (Fergana region) — 100 million soums
• 2nd place — Feruza Nordongulovna Baydavlatova (Syrdarya region) — 75 million soums
• 3rd place — Shohruh Bahodirovich Rahimov (Andijan region) — 50 million soums

The winners received cash prizes and special diplomas from the ministry. The awards ceremony was attended by ministry leaders, responsible officials, teachers and contest participants.

In the district and city stage, 4,750 people took part. At the first round of the regional stage, 624 candidates with the highest results took part, with three from each district or city.

Contests like this encourage teachers to look for new ideas in moral education and apply them in everyday school practice.
