Presidential Decree "On additional measures to increase the participation of the private sector in the field of education" was adopted

By the decision, by January 1, 2030, non-governmental preschool and general secondary educational organizations:

• are exempt from all types of taxes (except social tax) and fees;

• foreign teachers and specialists engaged in labor activities do not pay personal income tax and social tax.

Also, until January 1, 2030, the following non-state preschool and general secondary educational organizations will not be subject to payment of customs duties (except for customs clearance fees) for goods not produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan:

• modern teaching and laboratory equipment;

• computer hardware and software products;

Educational and scientific-methodological literature, supplies, and material and technical resources.

️Starting from January 1, 2025:

• issuance of "A-2" teacher entry visas to foreign specialists who are constantly involved in non-state educational organizations;

• the amount of the fee for issuing a confirmation of the right to work to specialists attracted from abroad by state and non-state educational organizations will be reduced from 30 to 1 BCA.
