✅ 1. Conclusion and verification of the dissertation

The dissertation must be fully completed.

The anti-plagiarism level should be at least 70%.

Scientific articles are as follows:

✅ At least 7 scientific publications to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD):

Article - at least 3 of them scientific articles (including 1 article in prestigious foreign scientific journals).

THESIS - and conditions under which at least 2 materials (articles, reports, or theses) may be published in the collection of conference materials based on broad discussion at republican scientific and scientific-practical conferences.

✅ 2. Scientific seminar (preliminary discussion)

The dissertation is discussed at a seminar at the department or scientific institution.

As a result: a positive conclusion of the seminar is obtained.

✅ 3. Submission of documents to the Academic Council

Dissertation;

Abstract;

Anti-plagiarism report;

Scientific supervisor's conclusion;

Seminar minutes;

Copy of published articles;

Application and other applications.

✅ 4. Review by the Academic Council

The board will review your materials within 1 month.

A decision is made: to accept or reject the defense.

✅ 5. Official opponents and a leading organization will be appointed

2 opponents (one must be a Doctor of Science).

Leading organization - selected from another organization.

✅ 6. The abstract will be prepared and published.

The abstract is published in 2 languages (UZ + RU or EN).

An official announcement about the defense of the dissertation will be posted on the website of the Higher Attestation Commission.

Protection must be carried out within 40 days.

✅ 7. Protection Day

There will be an open defense at the academic council.

Presentation, Q&A, opponents' speeches.

In conclusion - closed voting (2/3 votes needed).

✅ 8. Materials will be sent to the VAK.

Within 10 working days: protocol, minutes, dissertation, abstract, voting results, etc.

✅ 9. Awarding of academic degrees

The Higher Attestation Commission reviews it, and upon approval, a PhD diploma is officially awarded.
