According to Presidential Decree No. PP-4306 dated May 3, 2019, the following 5 winners of international Olympiads will be granted admission to state universities without entrance exams and additional examinations:
1️⃣ International Mathematical Olympiad - International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO)
2️⃣ V International Physics Olympiad - International Physics Olympiad (IPhO)
3️⃣International Chemistry Olympiad - International Chemistry Olympiad (ICHO)
4️⃣International Biology Olympiad - International Biology Olympiad (IBO)
5️⃣ V International Olympiad in Informatics - International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI)
What about other Olympiads?
Students who have won all of the above-mentioned international Olympiads, except for the 5 listed above, are not allowed to enter university without a test.
For example, participants who take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the republican stage of the main subject Olympiads will be awarded a certificate valid for three years, giving them the right to receive the maximum score in the subject of their specialty on entrance exams to state universities.
In other words, winners of the republican subject Olympiad will only receive the maximum score in that subject. For example, if chemistry is among the top three in the republic, then the maximum is given in chemistry. If chemistry is a subject of the 1st specialty, then 93 points, if it is a subject of the 2nd specialty, then 63 points are awarded. Other subjects will have to work on their own.
Students who become prize-winners of the republican subject Olympiad in Informatics and Information Technologies are awarded the maximum score in mathematics as a specialized subject.
