The Institute of Macroeconomic and Territorial Studies conducted a survey of more than 7,700 employers in 180 districts and cities of the republic to determine the demand for working personnel in the local labor market.
According to him, the largest demand in the country is for sales specialists and online sellers with a result of 5.8 percent.
A relatively low demand is attributed to teachers of foreign languages (English, German, Korean and other foreign languages), mathematics and information technology in educational institutions with a result of 1.2 percent.
60% of respondents noted an increase in the number of workers in the education sector. The report also includes the names of regions with the highest demand for education workers by region.
In particular, it is noted that
• Teachers of mathematics, algebra, geometry (4.0 percent), English (3.9 percent), Russian language and literature (2.2 percent) in the Khorezm region, university teachers in philosophy, psychology, sociology, history and political sciences (1.0 percent);
• Teachers of mathematics, algebra, and geometry in schools in the Tashkent region (4.9%);
• teachers of foreign languages (2.6%), mathematics, algebra, and geometry (1.4%) in schools in the Republic of Karakalpakstan;
• teachers of mathematics, algebra, and geometry in schools, colleges, and educational centers in the Kashkadarya region (2.3%);
• In Andijan region, the highest demand is for school and college teachers (1.8%);
• English teachers in Namangan region (1.7%);
In the Jizzakh region, there is a demand for mathematics, algebra, and geometry teachers (1.5%) in schools, colleges, and educational centers.
