Students of the Presidential School in Tashkent won the prestigious award named after Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan for their project to process rainwater to a level suitable for drinking.
Assistant to the President Saida Mirziyoyeva congratulated the students of the Presidential School who won the prestigious award named after Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan.
"The achievements of our education system have been recognized once again on the international stage. The President's School in Tashkent was recognized as the winner of the prestigious award named after Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan in the category "Global Secondary Schools," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is noted that schoolchildren Pahlavon Gulyamov and Asilbek Ashrapov and their teacher Sohibkhon Azizov's project to process rainwater to a level suitable for drinking won. A total of 5,980 applications were received from 156 countries.
14 January, in Abu Dhabi, the award was personally presented to the students by the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev also took part in the award ceremony.
"This remarkable success of our youth gives us all pride and dignity, as well as once again confirms the correctness of the path of sustainable and "green" development chosen by our President. We wish our students further achievements and new victories," Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote.
