According to it, the selection of applicants for the Zulfiya State Award, the procedure for formalizing and submitting their documents, and the criteria for evaluating the achievements, scientific, creative and practical work of the applicants were determined.

Candidates are selected through competitions in 8 directions - science, education, literature, culture, art, sports, information technologies and community activities.

The award is given to talented women between the ages of 14 and under 30, who are an example to their peers with their social activity and talent, for their academic and work achievements.

The selection of suitable candidates for each position is carried out in the following stages:

• district (city) stage — from September 2 to October 20;
• Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and Tashkent city stage from October 21 to November 30;
• the republican stage will be held from December 1 to December 31.

The award is given annually to 2 representatives of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent - a total of 28 applicants.

Prize winners will receive a diploma, a badge, and a monetary award of 50 times the BHM annually on the eve of International Women's Day, March 8.
