On March 12 of this year, the international rating agency QS officially announced the results of the "QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025." In this ranking, Tashkent State University of Economics for the first time ranked 401-450 among the world's prestigious "TOP-500" universities in the field of "Economics and Econometrics" under the "Social Sciences and Management" category.
Moreover, TSUE is the first and currently the only university among higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan to be featured in this category of the QS ranking.
This success is an effective result of the university's long-term strategy to expand research activities, develop international academic cooperation, and improve the quality of education. This achievement will further enhance TSUE's prestige in the international arena and will serve as a great incentive and opportunity for the university community to confidently stride towards new heights.
We note that Tashkent State University of Economics has been consistently achieving high positions in national and international rankings. In particular, the university is the second higher educational institution in Central Asia and the first in Uzbekistan to receive a 5-star rating in the QS Stars ranking.
QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) is one of the most prestigious international educational ranking organizations in the world. It primarily focuses on evaluating higher educational institutions. QS rankings are based on various criteria, such as academic reputation based on the opinions of researchers and professors, employers' views on graduates' employment prospects, student-to-faculty ratio, number of scientific publications and citations, and the proportion of international students and faculty members.
