On April 3 of this year, the construction of the first facilities in the city of New Tashkent began. Today, the President got acquainted with the construction of these complexes.
One of them is the National Library of Uzbekistan. The 4-story complex will have a national design that corresponds to its name. On a total area of 30 thousand square meters, quality services will be provided simultaneously to 1,420 readers.

"As I said earlier, we have two axial veins, two pillars of support: one is the economy, and the other is spirituality. A nation of great spirituality will also be great economically. Educated youth will be broad-minded, national-proud, mature people worthy of our ancestors. Therefore, we are starting the construction of our new city from educational institutions. These should be centuries-old centers of spirituality, enlightenment and science," Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
