Dilfuza Sobirova, Head of the Information Service of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, provided information about the certification process at a briefing held at the Agency of Information and Mass Communications on May 19th.

According to the data, almost 59% of teachers who participated in the qualification category tests failed the certification exam.

In total, about 190,000 teachers applied online to participate in these tests, of which 177,640 (95% of the total number of applicants) participated in the processes. Also, 75 teachers were removed from the test for violating the established rules. A corresponding document has been drawn up on this matter.

We are receiving several questions from teachers who, for various reasons, were unable to participate in the certification. That is, will additional certification tests be conducted for teachers who were unable to participate for various reasons?

The certification of teaching staff is regulated by the Regulation "On the Procedure for Certification of Teaching Staff of Preschool, General Secondary, Secondary Specialized, Vocational, and Extracurricular Educational Organizations," approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 17, 2021, No. 572.

According to Clause 45 of this Regulation, if pedagogical staff fail to attend the certification for a valid reason, their certification is postponed to another period.

- temporary disability of an employee;

- performance of state or public duties;

- participation in republican and international competitions;

- temporary travel in a foreign country;

- death of a close relative;

- other grounds specified in the certificate of the heads of the authorized state body or educational organizations.

In this case, for teachers who could not participate in qualification (testing) exams for valid reasons, the days of the test exams will be announced by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education.

Reminder! According to Clause 22 of the Regulation "On the Procedure for Certification of Teaching Staff of Preschool, General Secondary, Secondary Specialized, Vocational, and Extracurricular Educational Organizations," if the certification of teaching staff is postponed due to their failure to attend the extraordinary certification for valid reasons, the fee is not collected again.
