According to the calculations of the Statistics Agency, it was reported that in January-September of this year, Uzbeks are more likely to travel to the Republic of Tajikistan to study.

According to the data, 30.4 thousand citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan went to foreign countries to study. This indicator increased by 3.2% or 952 people compared to the corresponding period last year.

Citizens of our republic who went abroad for study in January-September 2024 by country are divided into the following categories:

• Tajikistan - 11,409 people
• Russia - 7,301 people
• Kyrgyz Republic - 2,845 people
• Turkey - 2,195 people
• South Korea - 1,839 people
• Kazakhstan - 1,372 people
• Great Britain - 693 people
• China - 672 people
• USA - 486 people
• UAE - 295 people
• Other countries - 1,292 people.
