In accordance with the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, priority measures for developing and implementing internationally recognized national educational programs have been approved.
According to reports, at the initiative of the Agency for Strategic Reforms, the International Qualifications and Assessment Center is being established in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment, and the international company "IQF - Integrated Qualifications Framework."
The main tasks of the Center are to develop integrated programs based on international standards, including the gradual implementation of international educational programs in the fields of construction, engineering, information technology, transport and logistics, tourism, hospitality services and business management, as well as to establish professional qualifications and create a system of national qualification certificates aligned with the labor market.
In the initial stage, the center will ensure the recognition of student credits and learning outcomes based on integrated vocational and higher education programs by the Chartered Management Institute international organization and leading UK universities (Gloucestershire, Hertfordshire, QA Higher Education, Northumbria, Ulster, West London, Central Lancashire, Wolverhampton).
It was emphasized that the center's activities will be implemented with the participation of local and international specialists and will become a crucial link in integrating Uzbekistan's education system into the international arena.
