According to the Presidential Decree of 2024 "On Improving the System of Admission to Higher Educational Institutions and Placement of State Orders," starting from the 2024/2025 academic year, entrance exams to state higher and professional educational institutions (excluding vocational schools) will be conducted simultaneously in accordance with the "first test, then competition" principle.

Entrance exams for admission to study are held in July-August;
at the second stage, applicants, within 15 days after the completion of the test trials, choose a higher educational institution, a bachelor's degree program, and a form of education;
