Overview

ENS de Lyon University in Lyon, France announces the Ampere Scholarship of Excellence program for international students to study at the master's level. This grant is mainly intended for international students who want to study in the fields of exact sciences, arts, humanities and social sciences. The program will run for 12 months and the grant holders will be awarded a stipend of €1,000 each month for 12 months. Applications for the program are open to citizens of all countries except France, aged 26 years or older, who are completing at least 3 years of bachelor's degree and are fluent in either English or French.

Admission to the program will last from November 6, 2024 to February 1, 2025 at 03:59 Uzbek time.

Acceptance Terms

To participate in the program, there are the following requirements:

  • Participation in the program is open to all non-citizens of the French state;
  • Participants must be at least 26 years old, i.e., born after January 1, 1999;
  • At the time of applying for study in the first stage of the master's program, candidates must have completed at least the 3rd stage of the bachelor's program, and for study in the second stage, they must have completed at least the first stage of the master's program;
  • The language requirements for candidates vary depending on the areas they choose. Some areas do not require a language certificate, while some areas require B1, B2 and C1 certificates indicating the level of proficiency in French or English. Candidates studying in a country where the state language is English/French or in English/French are not required to have a certificate.

Benefits

  • Candidates will have the opportunity to study for one year in France for a master's degree;
  • Grant holders will be awarded a stipend of €1,000 each month for 12 months. The scholarship is paid 3 times during the program, in late October (4 months), in February (4 months), and in May (4 months).

Remind me! In the second year of the program, more precisely, candidates who have completed the first year of the master's program and want to study the second year can reapply for the second year. They are selected by the head of the master's department.

  1. Please read the terms of the program;
  2. Prepare the necessary documents;
  3. Select the relevant university and direction;
  4. Apply online to one of the following universities:

The following documents are required for registration in the program:

  • Passport or ID;
  • Motivational letter;
  • CV;
  • The diploma and its transcription (should be in English or French, if it is in another language, it must be translated into these languages);
  • Proof of registration in the relevant direction;
  • Other additional documents may be requested depending on the candidate's chosen direction.

Remind me! Before applying, please read the program requirements and the registration process in detail. Candidates who have not yet completed their studies and have not received their diploma can submit their diplomas before the academic year. Applications submitted by e-mail or after the deadline are not accepted.
