In order to increase budget literacy among schoolchildren, the "Open Budget" information portal is a process that includes the formation of projects based on the opinions of schoolchildren, their selection, the identification of winning projects through voting and financing from budget funds.

All upper (5-11) grade students of the school can participate in the "My School" process. 50 million soums will be allocated to each school for the process. In this process, a project is formed by schoolchildren. For example: purchasing a school whiteboard, a computer, sports equipment, books, and so on.

The formed projects will undergo a qualification stage. The voting stage will be held for projects that have passed the qualification stage. Students will be provided with a keyword. With a keyword, students can vote for any project they want. Each student can vote once. One or more projects with the largest number of votes will be implemented within the allocated funds.

The "My School" project will be piloted in 14 districts (cities) in the 2024-2025 academic year, and from the 2025-2026 academic year in all schools of the republic.

The Ministry of Preschool and School Education for this project:

• Starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, in order to implement the "My School" project in all general education schools, funds will be allocated in the cost estimate of district (city) preschool and school education departments for 2025 at a base calculation amount of 150 times;
• these funds will be used within the framework of the "My School" project for school-necessary goods, such as electronic boards, computers, sports equipment, books, according to the choice of students in grades 5-11.
