International Nordic University

International Nordic University (INU) in Uzbekistan is a large private education cluster based on the advanced educational experience of Northern Europe, particularly Finland. The university covers all stages of education, from preschool to higher education, operating on a single innovative model.

History

INU began its activities under license No. 034528 issued by the State Inspectorate for Control of Education Quality under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. On 27 May 2022, important agreements on implementing new education projects were reached at the political consultation meeting of the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Finland held in Tashkent. Three months later, on 8 September 2022, the official opening of the university took place.

Faculties and Programs

Two main faculties currently operate at the university: the Faculty of Economics and Pedagogy and the Faculty of Master's Studies. Study programs are shaped by the demands of the time and the needs of the labor market.

Why Choose INU

INU is built on international cooperation. Its main strategic partner is Karelia University of Applied Sciences in Finland, whose experience forms the basis of the education programs, methodology and management system. Through joint 2+2 and 3+1 programs, students can complete part of their studies in Uzbekistan and continue in Finland.

Each year, up to 5 INU grants are awarded to the most knowledgeable students. Children from socially vulnerable families and students with high academic performance are offered a 50 % discount on contract tuition fees.
