During the visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Digital Technologies to Qatar, a meeting was held with the Chief Executive Officer of the Qatar Investment Agency, Sheikh Ali Al-Walid Al-Thani.

   During the discussion, issues of training IT specialists in the field of IT and assisting them in finding international jobs, financial support for local startups, and drawing up plans for the development of the IT sector were considered.

   Following the meeting, an agreement on cooperation on IT issues was signed between Uzbekistan and Qatar. This agreement will serve to strengthen cooperation in the field of IT issues, the digital economy, and innovation.

For reference: Invest Qatar (The Investment Promotion Agency Qatar) was established in 2019 and is engaged in attracting foreign investment to Qatar and further developing the country's economy. Invest Qatar also participated in the ICTWeek 2024 event as a regional partner. This cooperation serves to strengthen investment ties in the region.
