Transferring studies from one state university to another state university

In this case, permission is granted only in 2 situations:

1) if the student gets married and wants to move to a university in the region where the spouse permanently resides;

2) if a civil servant moves to another region for work and wants to transfer the education of their spouse or minor child to that region (based on a letter from the ministry where they got a job).

❌Otherwise, "internal transfer" is not permitted. Neither to another region nor to other universities in their own region.

2️⃣Transferring studies from abroad

In this case, the previous year's procedure remains in place:

1) take a test or creative exam in a relevant and related field and are required to achieve a passing score.

2) if they do not achieve a passing score, they are allowed to transfer their studies on super-contract terms;

3) transfer of studies from abroad to a non-corresponding and unrelated field of study is not permitted.

❕After passing the test, each student's documents will be rechecked. If someone has prepared fake documents claiming they are studying abroad, the results will be annulled, and the fact of preparing fake documents will be reported to the prosecutor's office.

🚩Transfer of studies from foreign and non-state universities in Uzbekistan

In this case, the previous year's procedure also remains in place:

1) take a test or creative exam in a relevant and related field and are required to achieve a passing score.

2) if they do not achieve a passing score, they are allowed to transfer their studies on super-contract terms;

3) for non-corresponding and unrelated fields, they can transfer by paying a one-time "super-contract" fee.

🚩Transfer from state university to non-state university

This is not controlled by the state; the procedure for this is determined independently by non-state universities. Check with the specific non-state university to determine whether it is possible to transfer there.

🚩Transfer from non-state university to non-state university

This is also not controlled by the state, the procedure needs to be clarified with the non-state university to which the transfer is desired.

🚩Transferring studies from abroad to non-state universities

This is also not controlled by the state, the procedure needs to be clarified with the non-state university to which the transfer is desired.

7️⃣Transferring studies from one major or faculty to another major or faculty within one state university

This issue is decided by the rector of the university, and the application is also written in the rector's name (not through the transfer.edu.uz or my.uzbmb.uz website). In this case, the correspondence and similarity of the transferred major, the reason for the transfer, the capabilities of the university, and other factors can be taken into account.

🚩Changing the form of education or language within one university or even one field of study

This issue is also decided by the university administration. In this case, the purpose of transfer, the capabilities of the university (for example, classroom capacity, number of professors and teachers, etc.) and other factors can be considered.

Applications are accepted as follows:

➡️transfer.edu.uz - from one university in the republic to another university or within the framework of one university;

➡️my.uzbmb.uz - from foreign and non-state higher educational institutions to state universities;

➡️transfer of major, faculty, form of education or language within one state university - either in writing to the rector's name or through an electronic system available at the university.

☝️Applications are accepted from July 15th to August 5th (inclusive).
