Yes, a student can work on paid jobs under an employment contract. There is no requirement or prohibition in the law to restrict such activities.

Legislative framework
The Regulation on Higher Education (paragraph 50): Students studying in the full-time form of education are allowed to work in higher educational institutions or other organizations on the basis of an employment contract in their free time (in the second half of the day). (Source)
