On February 20, the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Kongratbay Sharipov, met with students of Fergana State Technical University. The event was also attended by Deputy Minister Sarvarkhon Buzrukhonov, Deputy Governor of Fergana Region Sherzod Polvonov, and representatives of the Fergana Regional Department of JSC "Uzmilliybank."

   During the conversation, the Minister touched upon the important directions of state policy to ensure youth employment. In particular, during the conversation with young people on February 14, the President noted that a new system for ensuring the employment of graduates will be created, $100 million will be allocated for this purpose through the National Bank, and banking services will be introduced to support youth startups and business projects. He also noted that Aloqabank will be transformed into a supporting bank for young entrepreneurs.

   During the meeting, the Minister listened to the proposals of students on employment, innovative projects, and the introduction of advanced technologies into the educational process. In particular, the proposal put forward by the students to create a national brand for the installation of micro hydropower plants and thereby provide employment for about 10 students was supported by the minister. Representatives of the relevant banks were given instructions on the implementation of this initiative.

   After the meeting, the Minister got acquainted with the presentation of innovative projects developed by young scientists of the institute and expressed his opinion. The activities of the "Youth Technopark," organized in Fergana, were also studied, and recommendations were given on the construction process.

   This meeting will serve to transform youth initiatives and ideas into practical projects, ensure their employment, and develop education and innovation.
