Universities 29/10/2026 Quota admission exams held for foreign and non-state universities

Under Presidential Decree No. PF-58 of April 10, 2026, exams were held for targeted admission quotas at foreign and non-state higher education institutions. The aim is to objectively assess young people's knowledge and potential and to select candidates worthy of state grants.

More than 2,900 applicants were expected to take part, and more than 2,900 actually sat the exam. Two applicants were removed from the process for violating exam rules.

How is selection carried out?

Under the current procedure, applicants who score at least the established minimum passing score are recommended for state grants within the allocated quotas. Recommendations are based on the ranking of results, so higher scorers are placed higher on the list.

Exam result records will be submitted to the relevant higher education institutions in the prescribed manner. Applicants who receive a grant recommendation should follow the official announcements of those institutions regarding the next admission stages.

For students planning to study at foreign or non-state universities, the news is a reminder that state grant opportunities exist. Admission requirements and deadlines should be checked on each institution's official website.
