News 13/02/2025 Grants will be allocated from funds to ensure women's employment

   A Presidential Decree "On Improving the Procedures for Financing the Social Protection System of the Population" has been adopted.

Assistance is provided to those included in the register of poor families.

According to the Decree, from April 1, 2025:

   Social assistance provided through the "Social Notebooks" funds is also provided to families included in the register of low-income families, improving housing conditions, and families whose monthly income does not exceed 2 consumer spending.

   It is permitted to spend no more than 25 percent of the revenues of the "Women's Notebook" and "Youth Notebook" funds on the organization and conduct of cultural, educational, sports, and tourist events.

The financial situation of those who have applied for assistance will be studied.

Social assistance through the "Social Notebooks" fund is provided in the following order:

  • assistance is provided to young people and women from poor families to lift families out of poverty, which is the basis for the provision of social assistance to this category of persons;
  • Assessment of the situation of individuals applying for assistance from the "Social Notebooks" funds is carried out automatically through the "Unified National Social Protection" information system, and the financial situation of the family - through information exchange.

It is planned to allocate grants from the funds to at least 3 women.

   Also, from April 1 of this year, the following new support tools through the "Social Notebooks" funds will be introduced for families included in the Register of Poor Families.

   Grants of up to 60 BRV will be allocated from the "Women's Notebook," "Youth Notebook," and "Generosity and Support" funds to finance projects aimed at ensuring the employment of at least 3 women, youth, and other vulnerable categories of the population.

Houses of families affected by man-made disasters will be repaired.

At the expense of the "Youth Notebook" fund:

  1. Young people with disabilities will be reimbursed monthly for travel expenses for participation in parasport clubs in the amount of up to 1 BRV.
  2. For young people regularly attending sports and art clubs for 6 months, special sports uniforms, inventory, musical and musical instruments worth no more than 10 BRV will be purchased.
  3. Families affected by fires, floods, earthquakes, and other man-made incidents will receive assistance in the amount of up to 150 BRV through the "Kindness and Support" Fund to cover the costs of restoring and repairing their homes.
