From now on, applicants will be admitted to universities in the field of "jurisprudence" on the basis of an interview

The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to introduce a continuous system of legal education in state educational institutions and increase the legal culture and literacy of minors" has been published. In accordance with this decision, academic lyceums of the Tashkent State University of Law will be established on the basis of law schools. It was confirmed that their talented graduates will be admitted to higher educational institutions in the direction of "jurisprudence" on the basis of an interview without testing.

The following paragraphs are also defined in the resolution:

  • Introduction of the "School-Lice-Technical School-University" system in the training of legal personnel through the organization of in-depth study of the "Law Classroom" and legal disciplines in schools
  • To establish a system for continuous improvement of professional knowledge and skills of law teachers and their methodological support through a special platform of the Ministry of Justice
  • Holding an Olympiad on the subject "Legal Knowledge" among students and a competition "Best Law Teacher" among legal teachers
  • Creation of visual educational materials, videos, computer games, and mobile applications aimed at the independent acquisition of legal knowledge by schoolchildren

This decision aims to make legal education more effective and continuous. The interview-based admission system serves to improve the quality of legal education.
