On February 27, 2025, a meeting was held at the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation between the management of the Foundation, the head of the master's program of the School of Business and Management of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Salad Kwok, and a representative of the School of Business and Management of this university, Nicole Lau.

   For reference: in the rankings of many major universities, it is consistently included in the list of the top 15 universities of Asia and ranks 60th in the international QS ranking. Currently, three Foundation scholarship holders are studying at this university.

   At this meeting, issues of establishing cooperation between the "El-yurt umidi" Foundation and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology were discussed.

   The Acting Deputy Executive Director of the "El-yurt umidi" Foundation, Javokhir Akhmedov, provided information on the activities of the Foundation and the upcoming competitive selection process. Proposals were considered to bring cooperation to a higher level, and a proposal was made to provide a 40 percent discount on tuition fees for new scholarship holders.

   The university representative, Salad Kwok, supported these proposals and provided information on the priority areas taught at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, business administration, engineering, architecture, IT, public administration, and the humanities.

   Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, outlining the prospects for cooperation.
