According to the presidential decree, a new two-stage procedure for assigning qualifications to physical education teachers will be developed. The first stage (testing process) will be organized by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, while the second stage (practical exam) will be conducted by the Ministry of Sports.

To ensure the implementation of this decree, a joint resolution of the Ministry of Preschool and School Education and the Ministry of Sports has been adopted.

💪 Accordingly, the standards for the level of physical fitness in practical examination tests for physical education teachers, as well as the techniques for sports exercises and assessment criteria, have been approved.

🗓 For Physical Education teachers: (starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, beginning with the August-December 2025 attestation):

➖first stage - test trials conducted by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education (40 test questions, 1 point each, for a total of 40 points);

➖second stage - practical exam (total 60 points, of which 20 points are for physical fitness level standards, and 40 points for sports exercise techniques).

❗️It should be noted that these assessment criteria will be implemented starting from the pedagogical staff certification held in August-December 2025 (for the January-June certification, 50 test questions will be given, as in previous years).
