List of licensed private universities in Uzbekistan
In recent years, the number of private and non-governmental higher education institutions has increased. News that a new university or institute has opened every month has become commonplace.
At such a time, parents and applicants have one main question: "Will the diploma be awarded in Uzbekistan?"
The State Inspectorate for Quality Control of Education has published a list of non-state and private universities that have received licenses in order to provide convenience and reliable information to applicants and their parents.
According to the official website of the Education Quality Control Inspection, which is a competent state body, the licensed private educational institutions are:
Non-state higher education organizations independently determine the deadline for accepting documents and the procedure for enrolling students.
At the same time, the transfer of students from non-state higher education organizations operating in the country to suitable and unrelated educational areas of state higher education institutions is conducted on the basis of professional (creative) examinations in educational areas that require a special talent from the student, and tests in other educational areas.
Students with scores lower than the passing score are admitted to study on the basis of a differentiated fee-contract in accordance with the procedure for admission to the bachelor's degree.
Transfer to the corresponding and non-similar educational areas of the state higher education institutions of Uzbekistan is carried out in accordance with the established procedure, on the basis of a one-time payment equal to the minimum amount of the differentiated fee-contract established for the relevant undergraduate education.
