The transfer process provides students with the opportunity to change their fields of study or educational institutions. This process is mainly carried out in order to create better opportunities for students in their scientific and professional fields. However, in many cases, the opportunities provided to girls are of particular importance in the transfer of studies. And what about the guys?

In winter transfer, you can:

• Transferring studies to another region due to marriage (can transfer to their own field of study or to a suitable and related field, or can change the form of education if desired);
• since their parents or spouse are civil servants, and their permanent place of work has been transferred to another region (transfers can also be made in the same forms as above);
• Only transfer from a state university to another state university for a valid reason in the prescribed manner.

The following is not allowed:

• Internal transfer (changing the direction of education or form of education within one university);
• Transfer to another university within one region (for example, transfer to another university in one region);
• transfer of studies from their branches abroad or in the territory of the republic;
• Transfer of studies from state universities to private universities;
• Transfer of studies from private universities to state universities;
• Mutual transfer efforts between private universities;
• Any transfer processes related to a private university;
• Transfer of studies from abroad to state or private universities.

   It is well known that the "winter transfer" process is carried out for two valid reasons. Now let's discuss an interesting aspect of this process for young men that many don't know about.

   If young men marrying in another region move their permanent residence  to that region, they can easily transfer to a university in that area.

   For example, you are from the Samarkand region, and the bride is from Tashkent. You are now moving completely to Tashkent, that is, to the area where the bride lives. So, you now have a valid reason and the opportunity to transfer your studies to any state university in Tashkent.

Note: If you are from Samarkand, and the bride is from Bukhara, and after getting married, you move to Tashkent city or another third region, this is not considered a valid reason, and you cannot transfer your studies to a third region. It is important to note that for a valid reason, it is necessary to move to the place of permanent residence of one of the spouses.

   In another case, that is, if the parents (or husband) are employees of state bodies and their place of work changes - in this case, due to the fact that the student's parents or spouse work in a state body, if their place of work is transferred to another region, the student is also given the opportunity to transfer their studies to a corresponding and similar field of study in that region.

   However, this is permitted only if the child of the parent working in the state body is under 18 years of age. If they are over 18 years old, they can only change their form of education to correspondence or distance learning at their educational institution; transfer to the region is not permitted. In matters of marriage, there is no age limit. Students with this reason are not selected by gender, meaning it doesn't matter whether they are boys or girls.

In this case, the student will need the following documents:

• Application (written through an online website);
• Passport (pdf or jpg format with registration);
• Transcript (or rating book);
• contact letter from the ministry where the parents (husband) work (regarding the transfer of their employee's work to another region);
• Reason for transfer of studies will be written.

The deadline for publishing the results of the "winter transfer" is:

   According to the appendix to the "Regulations on the procedure for transfer, reinstatement and expulsion of students of higher educational institutions," the results of applications for the spring semester (winter transfer in the vernacular) will be announced to the citizen from January 25 to February 15. So, the last day for announcing the results of the "winter transfer" is February 15.
