News 17/03/2025 Graduates of universities ranked in the top 500 will receive additional bonuses

Employees who have graduated from universities ranked in the top 500 internationally or have obtained academic degrees will be paid additional bonuses on top of their salary.

Additional bonuses are paid monthly based on a contract between the Public Service Development Agency, the young specialist, and their employer. The contract is concluded for a period of up to 3 years. Payments are made by the employer.

Young specialists who have completed bachelor's degree programs at foreign higher educational institutions ranked 1st to 100th in international rankings are paid a bonus of 30 times the Basic Reference Value (BRV) on top of their official salaries. Young specialists who have completed a master's degree are paid a bonus of 40 times the BRV, and young specialists who have obtained an academic degree (PhD or other equivalent academic degrees) from foreign higher educational institutions are paid a bonus of 75 times the BRV on top of their official salary.

Specialists who have graduated from bachelor's and master's programs at foreign educational institutions ranked 101st to 300th will be paid bonuses of 20 and 30 times the BRV, respectively. Those who have obtained a scientific degree from the same higher educational institution are paid an additional bonus of 60 times the BRV.

Graduates of universities ranked 301st to 500th will receive a bonus ranging from 15 to 50 times the Basic Reference Value (BRV).

The internationally recognized ranking organizations are Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings, Times Higher Education, and Academic Ranking of World Universities.
