On February 21, 2025, TDSHU and the Embassy of the People's Republic of Bangladesh in Uzbekistan organized a solemn event dedicated to International Mother Language Day.

   The event was opened with introductory remarks by TSPU Rector Gulchehra Rikhsiyeva and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Muhammad Monirul Islam. They emphasized the importance of language and culture in the development of society and stressed the importance of international cooperation in the preservation and development of the native language.

   Representatives of the ministry and international organizations also took part in the event. Performances by students in Uzbek and Oriental languages, as well as performances by foreign students accompanied by the national instrument dutar, gave the event a special atmosphere. At the end, the national dance of Bangladesh was performed.
