News 07/02/2025 UBS University students can continue their studies in Korea

   On January 24 of this year, an official meeting was held between representatives of the University of Business and Science and officials of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea.

   Issues of developing international educational cooperation, student exchange, and the implementation of promising joint programs were discussed.

   In particular, an exchange of views took place on UBS's international relations, academic cooperation, and a number of new opportunities in the field of education:

  • 2+2, 3+1 joint educational programs with leading Korean universities;
  • student exchange;
  • orientation of students for short-term internships;
  • the issues of continuing education at partner universities were widely discussed.

During the meeting, important proposals were also put forward during discussions with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea.            Including

  • Implementation of joint programs in the field of medicine with "Kyungdong University";
  • Cooperation with Korea Elevator University in the training of elevator engineers;
  • initiatives such as organizing short-term internships for students with industrial enterprises were put forward and included in future plans.

   As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed on further continuous cooperation and the establishment of joint efforts to strengthen Uzbekistan's international integration in the field of education.

   Also, the issue of establishing regular contact with embassy representatives and informing them about the work being carried out was identified as an important task.

   This meeting was an important step for the University of Business and Science in developing international educational cooperation, creating new opportunities for students, and adapting Uzbekistan's education system to world standards.

   Close cooperation between the university and the embassy will allow for the implementation of even broader projects in the future.
