According to the Axmadjanov.uz Telegram channel, a draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers has been prepared. It would open retraining courses in anti-corruption and compliance control at the Law Enforcement Academy and the Academy of Public Policy and Administration.
The course is open to specialists with higher education in law, economics, finance, taxation, audit, systems analysis, management or information technology. The main audience is compliance staff in government bodies and candidates being hired into these structures.
The course will last at least 288 hours and will be delivered remotely in two stages:
Graduates will receive a joint diploma from both academies. Newly appointed employees will study at the Law Enforcement Academy for 4 months: 3 months remotely and 1 month in person.
The diploma could open doors to compliance departments in government bodies and in companies where the state holds 50 percent or more. However, the author notes that the diploma does not automatically guarantee a job.
Tuition will be paid under a contract. Employees who are already working will keep their positions and average monthly salary.
For now this is only a draft. The final procedure will be known after the document is approved.
