Teachers Can Now Apply Online for a Mortgage Subsidy

Teachers have another way to address their housing needs. According to the Xushnudbek.uz Telegram channel, under Government Decree No. 69 of February 19, 2026, 25 percent of the initial down payment on a mortgage loan will be covered from the state budget.
How to apply
Applications can be submitted online through the my.gov.uz portal or the MyGov app. To do so:
- log in to the portal or the app;
- select the service «Housing purchase subsidy for teachers»;
- enter the required information and submit the application.
Applications are also accepted through public service centers.
Who is eligible?
The subsidy is available to teachers who meet the following requirements:
- at least 15 years of work experience;
- the highest qualification category;
- age under 60.
In addition, neither the applicant nor their spouse may own two or more residential units.
