A forum and exhibition on the topic "The Role of Women in the Development of the IT Sphere" were organized at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.

   The event was attended by representatives of the Committee for Family and Women, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, as well as representatives of the IT sphere, professors and teachers, and female students. They exchanged views on the role of women in the IT sphere, opportunities for the development of their scientific and practical projects.

Within the framework of the forum:

• The achievements of women in science and entrepreneurship, as well as an exhibition of products, were presented;
• A presentation of innovative projects of female scientists and female students was held;
• Congratulatory speeches and presentations of professors and teachers were heard.

   Also, in order to increase women's interest in science, support their innovative thinking, and develop their scientific potential, a competition was held in the nominations "Author of the best innovative project on ICT" and "Author of the best computer program and database."

Competition results:

• 1st place: Sarsenbaeva Bibinur Akhmet kyzy, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Economics and Management.
• 2nd place: Chorshanbieva Sevinch Akramovna, 3rd year student of the Faculty of Computer Engineering.
• 3rd place: Malikova Nodira Turgunovna, Associate Professor, Department of Convergence of Digital Technologies.

   This forum and exhibition served to expand the participation of women in the IT field, promote their innovative ideas, and create a platform for new projects.
